Abstract/Summary

Virus is a science fiction novella, which functions as both art critique and artwork, using experimental writing practices to develop a new language of feminist and queer art writing. The book explicitly writes queer multi-gendered, often abject bodies as protagonists in a world where a vengeful virus murders evil male artist antagonists, while mutating (towards spaces of hope) those who are already 'outside'.
